Setting: On-site Only (No Remote Option)

Position Overview

BlazerJobs is seeking a qualified and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time, on-site position with a school district in East Providence, Rhode Island. This role covers the 2025–2026 school year and will focus primarily on elementary students, with the possibility of some middle school involvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluations and direct therapy services in a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to determine student needs

• Provide direct speech and language services in alignment with IEP goals

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement service plans

• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with district guidelines

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Rhode Island SLP license

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

• Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred

• Must be available to work on-site

• Must pass a background check and fingerprint clearance

• Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs are not eligible for this position
