School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Edison, New Jersey

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, offering you consistency throughout the school year with a start date as soon as possible and continuing through June 25, 2027.

This position focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services within an elementary setting. You will work closely with a supportive staff at a well-established school site and manage a manageable caseload. Your expertise will directly support students' communication needs and their overall academic success.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid New Jersey SLP licensure (CCC required)
• Prior experience delivering services in a school-based environment
• Comfortable navigating district protocols and school culture
• Ability to independently manage all testing, evaluations, and assessments
• Must provide your own testing materials
• Reliable transportation; must be able to commute with ease
• Willingness to complete onboarding requirements, including TB test, physical, and fingerprinting for both agency and district
• Candidates must be able to manage caseload independently; clinical fellowships (CF) and SLPAs are not eligible due to limited supervision

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to elementary students
• Collaborate with teaching staff and caregivers to support student progress
• Complete all necessary documentation and reporting
• Maintain effective communication with school personnel and families
