Speech Pathologist for School Setting (SLP)

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Illinois SLP license through IDFPR

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement

• ASHA CCC preferred; CFs with strong school experience considered

Typical duties:

• Assessing and identifying speech, language, and communication disorders

• Creating and implementing IEPs

• Delivering direct and consultative services

• Working closely with educators, families, and support staff

• Documenting progress and compliance

Pay: Starting from $48/hr for new graduates.
