Speech Language Pathologist - Emporia, KS - New School Year (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions for the upcoming school year with school districts in the Emporia, Kansas area. Details: 

• Location: Emporia , KS
• Full Time: 37.5 hours per week (Part-Time also available)
• Caseload: Elementary School Students. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.

Requirements – Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS).
• Valid or eligible for Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) licensure for school-based practice.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
• Completion of background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K–12 settings
• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
• Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
• Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
