Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time or Part-Time Contract
Location: Emporia, KS

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based contract role in Emporia, KS. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Renewal opportunities may be available based on performance.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Kansas SLP License through the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Kansas State Department of Education licensure (if applicable for school-based settings)

• Background check and fingerprint clearance

• Experience with special education students and families highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and speech/language assessments

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain detailed progress notes and required documentation

• Support compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
