Two contract opportunities are available for speech professionals to play a pivotal role in serving diverse K-12 learners near Englewood and the greater Denver area. These onsite-only assignments offer varied caseloads, supportive teams, and the chance to collaborate across different school settings.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement required (or Speech Pathologist Assistant credential for one role)
  • Experience providing speech-language therapy in school settings
  • Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to different sites and student needs
  • Commitment to collaborative, student-centered service
  • Successful completion of district-required background check and fingerprinting

Role Details & Responsibilities:

  • Immediate opening: 0.5 FTE SLP, onsite, serving across multiple schools (2.5 days/week, caseload of 20-25 students, supporting varied K-12 populations until May 28, 2027)
  • January start: Full-time SLP or SLPA, onsite. Serve at Aurora Frontier K-8 (Janmid-March, caseload of 4045) and transfer to Vista PEAK Preparatory (mid-MarchMay, caseload of 4045)
  • Deliver group and individual speech/language therapy, conduct screenings and assessments
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other providers to support student IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and case management
  • Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and professional development as needed
