Key Qualifications:

  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • School-based SLP experience required
  • Must be able to manage a mild-to-moderate elementary caseload (including some PreK students)
  • Comfortable working independentlyno SLPAs or Clinical Fellows
  • District requires W2 contracted employees (no 1099 or Voco arrangements)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cover for an SLP on medical leave through approximately the winter break
  • Support a single elementary school site, overseeing a caseload of around 40 students
  • Provide ongoing care, including compensatory services upon the SLP's return
  • Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
