Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse communication needs in a vibrant educational community near Eugene, OR. This contract position offers the opportunity to work across two high schools and one elementary school, supporting approximately 33 students in life skills programming from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027. Spend half the week at Westmoreland Campus, focusing on special education students, and the other half at Lane Schools, where youll foster socialization and communication development.
Ideal candidates bring expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, with CCC certification preferred. Previous experience with AAC and feeding or swallowing (safe eating) is valued, but not requiredenthusiastic professionals will receive comprehensive training. Enjoy the autonomy of working independently, while benefiting from regular virtual check-ins and monthly meetings with a robust, collaborative SLP team. On-site support from special education staff, paraprofessionals, and assistants ensures that youre never alone in meeting students needs.
