This contract opportunity places you in supportive educational settings across the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas, working closely with students and staff to foster communication success.

Bring your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to a dedicated school community! Youll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to help students reach their greatest potential. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through June 12, 2027, with a steady 35 hours per week on an engaging, productive schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Current VA Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates welcome
• Previous school setting experience is a plus
• Ability to work exclusively onsite (remote/virtual options are not available)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing evidence-based, student-centered services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and meticulously document treatment outcomes
• Support IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives to enhance student communication
