Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role within school districts in the Forest City, North Carolina area. Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following local and state qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Current North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBOESLPA) license

• North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) licensure for school-based SLPs

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred but not required

• Valid NC IVP Fingerprint Clearance (if required by district)

• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy services to students as specified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine speech and language needs

• Develop therapy plans and strategies to support student communication goals

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to promote student success

• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and required compliance records

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting and planning
