Embark on a rewarding career supporting students across multiple school campuses in the Fort Myers area as a contract Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Full-time schedules of up to 37.5 hours per week are available, with flexibility for part-time assignments. Assignments are offered at numerous elementary, middle, and high schoolsallowing you to tailor your work setting to your interests and expertise. Start date is August 11, 2026, continuing through May 27, 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
  • Active Florida DOH SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements and secure a JLA badge (prior prints with another FL district may be transferable)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to work with diverse caseloads (age groups and needs will vary by school site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy to students in assigned locations
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training as required
