NOW HIRING - School-Based Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to serve a trusted school district in Fresno, CA. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity for the 2025–2026 school year.

Starting pay is $50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing

• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers

• Support access to classroom instruction and school activities

• Collaborate with school staff to ensure students’ educational goals are met

California Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred)

• Valid RID certification or equivalent interpreting credential recognized by California

• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)

• Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening
