Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, in-person position with partner school districts in the Gaffney, South Carolina area. Qualifications & Requirements:

Applicants must meet all South Carolina state and local requirements, including:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Valid South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License

• Current South Carolina Department of Education Speech-Language Therapist certification (or ability to obtain)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted

• Ability to pass state and district background checks

• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for:

• Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments and screenings

• Developing and implementing therapy plans aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Providing direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups

• Collaborating with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress

• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams

• Monitoring and documenting student performance and progress toward goals

• Assisting in creating supportive learning environments for students with communication challenges
