Blazer Jobs is working closely with school districts throughout North Carolina to place licensed and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 school year. Position Summary

SLPs in North Carolina schools play a vital role in helping students overcome speech, language, and communication barriers that can affect learning, classroom participation, and peer relationships. You will be part of a collaborative team working to develop and implement strategies tailored to individual student needs.

We have current opportunities in locations such as Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham, and Fayetteville.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and identify speech or language disorders in accordance with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and IDEA guidelines

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals

• Provide speech therapy services individually or in group settings

• Maintain detailed documentation and progress tracking for each student

• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning sessions

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student success

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

• Active or pending North Carolina SLP license

• Prior experience in K–12 or pediatric settings preferred

• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

• Must pass all required background checks and fingerprinting for North Carolina public schools

Job Details

• Both full-time and part-time positions available

• Contract runs from August 2025 through June 2026

• W-2 employment through Blazer Jobs

• Ongoing support from a dedicated recruiter throughout your assignment
