Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
A local school district in the Elgin area is seeking a licensed and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, contract position. The SLP will work with a diverse K–12 student population, providing assessment, therapy, and collaborative support to help students succeed in their communication goals.
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
Previous experience in a school setting (preferred)
Eligibility to work in the United States
