Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a Connecticut school setting. This is a full-time, onsite role running through June 11, 2027, offering a chance to make a lasting impact by fostering student communication and language development.

Youll collaborate with school staff to serve an elementary-aged caseload, potentially splitting your time between two sites. Licensed CCC-SLPs are particularly encouraged, but qualified Clinical Fellows will also be considered, with supervision provided as district capacity allows. Your expertise will play a key role in shaping students educational journeys and building their confidence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license (active at time of start)
  • School-based SLP experience required
  • ASHA CCC strongly preferred; CF applicants with arranged supervision may be considered
  • Ability to work on-site at elementary school locations
  • Flexibility to cover two school sites if needed
  • SLPAs cannot be considered
  • Successful district fingerprinting and background checks mandated

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement communication interventions, documenting progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as needed
  • Adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Complete all required district compliance steps
  • Attend interviews conducted via Zoom
