What You’ll Do

• Teach standards-based instruction in core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, and social studies

• Create lesson plans, classroom activities, and age-appropriate assessments

• Foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment

• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

• Collaborate with staff and participate in IEPs when applicable

• Communicate effectively with families and school teams

What You’ll Need

• A valid Louisiana teaching certificate with an elementary education endorsement

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

• Previous experience in an elementary classroom preferred

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and fingerprint clearance
