Blazer Jobs partners with school districts across the country to place committed professionals in impactful educational roles. As a school-based SLP, you’ll support students with diverse communication needs through evidence-based therapy and close collaboration with school teams. Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech and language skills
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes communication success
Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist license
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered based on district support
Experience working in K–12 school settings is highly valued
Ability to pass background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening
