Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Haysville, KS

In this contract role, youll support students during a maternity leave, working with a dedicated team to help students in early childhood and pre-K settings excel in their communication development. What Youll Bring:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with children in school-based settings, especially early childhood and pre-K populations
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices a plus
• Excellent collaboration abilities for coordinating with fellow SLPs and educational staff
• Self-motivated and organized, able to manage a caseload independently during scheduled hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct SLP services for students as part of a two-person rotation
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs, focusing on younger age groups
• Collaborate with another SLP to divide responsibilities for early childhood, pre-K, and students utilizing AAC devices
• Maintain records and progress documentation according to educational and professional standards
• Engage with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure integrated care for each child
