Key Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license and professional certification (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Background supporting students with multiple disabilities is a plus
  • Deep understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), assessment, and intervention techniques within a school environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, comfortable working closely with families, educators, and related service providers

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy for early childhood students in an ECSE setting
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation for student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consult with staff and families, and support the integration of therapy into classroom activities
  • Develop creative approaches to engage students of varying abilities and needs
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines as well as district policies

Role Details:

  • 0.8 FTE, or 32 hours per week across four days
  • Start as soon as possible, with the assignment continuing through the end of the 2026-2027 school year
