Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Rate: $50–$55/hour (based on experience)
Type: Full-Time 37.50 Hours week, On-Site
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and licensed
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site speech and language services to K–12 students across schools in the Greater Houston area for the 2025–2026 academic year. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students reach their communication potential and thrives in a collaborative, school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and small group settings
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of communication skills
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance records
- Provide support and consultation to school personnel regarding speech and language development
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered with supervision available
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP documentation, and Medicaid billing (if applicable)
