Alief Independent School District, a highly respected and diverse district in the Houston metro area, is hiring 10 full-time onsite Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–26 school year. Whether you're a seasoned CCC or a Clinical Fellow (CF), this is your chance to work in a district that values clinical excellence and supports its therapists with collaborative caseload models and competitive compensation.
6 Elementary School SLPs (CCC or CF)
Every elementary campus has built-in support: a second SLP or an SLPA for 2–3 days/week
1 Intermediate Campus SLP (Grades 5–6) – CCC required
2 Middle School SLPs (Grades 7–8) – CCC required
Caseloads range from 60–70 students; mostly re-evaluations, limited therapy sessions
1 High School SLP – CCC required
Low-frequency therapy; primarily re-evaluations for speech-only students
Active Texas SLP License (or SLP Intern License for CFs)
No SLPAs accepted for these roles
Onsite only – No VOCO or virtual work permitted
No Texas educator certification required (19 T.A.C §231.755)
School-based experience preferred but not required
Must pass a background check
