Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA)

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring full-time Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or SLPA) for travel-based school assignments across Texas. These are W2 contract positions offering competitive weekly compensation, full-time school schedules, and the opportunity to work as part of dedicated special education teams across the state.

Compensation & Schedule:
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,100 (varies with credentials & location)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday
Employment Type: W2 contract
Benefits: Optional medical, dental, and vision coverage
Setting: On-site only; no remote or hybrid roles
Accepted Providers:
SLP-CCC: ASHA-certified with active Texas license
SLP-CF: Clinical Fellows accepted; supervision provided
SLPA: Active Texas SLPA license required; school-based readiness expected
SLP Qualifications (CCC or CF):
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Texas SLP license (TDLR)
Expertise in assessments, IEP development, therapy delivery, progress tracking, & documentation
Deep understanding of speech, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic disorders in K–12 populations
Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary special education teams
SLPA Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active Texas SLPA license
Competence in implementing SLP-developed treatment plans under supervision
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Prior school-based or pediatric experience is advantageous
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Demonstrated success in school or pediatric therapy settings
In-depth knowledge of IDEA regulations, ARD/IEP processes, and state compliance requirements
Skilled at building collaborative relationships with educators, administrators, and families
Familiarity with common school-based documentation platforms and progress-monitoring tools
Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in special education
This is a high-impact, flexible opportunity offering professional support, clinical mentorship, and geographic variety throughout Texas. Supervision for CFs and onboarding for SLPAs are provided.
