Make a meaningful difference supporting students while expanding your expertise in speech-language pathology. This contract position is available onsite in the Coachella Valley region for the full 2026-2027 school year, with a focus on serving PreK students. Bilingual Spanish applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, though monolingual professionals are welcome. Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active California SLP license
  • CCC-SLP credential or eligibility; open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Certificate of Clearance (COC) required
  • Preference for candidates with previous school-based SLP experience
  • Familiarity with SEIS and California Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation is a plus
  • Experience with mild-to-moderate and severe student needs, including AAC devices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educators, students, and families
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency highly valued, but not mandatory

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Serve a varied caseload, primarily PreK, with possible itinerant responsibilities across sites
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Educate families and staff to support student communication in the classroom and at home
