Blazer Jobs is partnering with school districts across Florida to recruit qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 academic year. If you’re committed to supporting student success through effective communication interventions, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Florida's schools.
SLPs in Florida schools work closely with students across all grade levels to improve language, articulation, fluency, and social communication skills. You’ll participate in evaluations, contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with educators and families to support student learning and development.
We are actively placing SLPs in multiple locations, including Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Fort Lauderdale, and surrounding areas.
Complete speech and language assessments in accordance with Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) standards
Provide direct and indirect therapy services aligned with IEP goals and student needs
Develop individualized treatment plans and update progress reports as required
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws (including IDEA)
Consult with classroom teachers, school staff, and parents to support communication goals
May supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs), per Florida licensure guidelines
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
Valid Florida SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure before start date)
Understanding of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery
Previous experience in schools or working with children is highly valued
Must meet background screening and fingerprinting requirements per Florida statutes
Full-time and part-time roles available depending on district needs
Contract positions aligned with the school calendar (August 2025 – June 2026)
