Make a lasting impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment just outside Jersey City, NJ. This full-time, contract opportunity spans from ASAP through June 25, 2027, serving a vibrant caseload at an elementary school site. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, totaling 35 hours each week, where youll help students build crucial speech and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Current, valid NJ SLP licensure
  • Prior school-based SLP experience is essential
  • Strong familiarity with elementary caseloads and comfort within a school district setting
  • Able to provide personal testing and assessment materials
  • Capacity to independently conduct evaluations, assessments, and direct therapy
  • Reliable transportation for consistent attendance; must reside within a reasonable commute
  • Successful completion of onboarding requirements: TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting (agency & district)
  • Please note: No CF or SLPA candidates at this time due to supervision limits

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Manage and service a diverse student caseload by identifying communication needs and developing targeted intervention plans
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and documentation in line with school district standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, families, and school teams to support student success
  • Maintain organized records and follow all district compliance requirements
