Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity supporting students across two high schools and one elementary setting in a life skills program. This full-time position (40 hours per week) spans from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027, allowing you to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. Half your week will be dedicated to students at a campus serving those with special education needs, while the remainder will focus on social development support at another nearby school. With a caseload of approximately 33 students, your expertise will be vital in helping them thrive.
Preferred candidates have experience with feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), though training will be offered for those eager to learn these essential skills. Youll work independently on-site but benefit from the support of a robust SLP team available virtually and through monthly meetings, as well as collaboration with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom assistants.
