Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Kansas City, KS

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Kansas City, Kansas. This opportunity will run from August 8, 2025, to May 21, 2026, and is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

Position Details:

• Location: Kansas City, KS

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract

• Contract Dates: August 8, 2025 – May 21, 2026

• Contract Renewal: May be available based on performance

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas SLP license (CCC-SLP preferred; CFs with strong experience will be considered)

• Must meet all local and state requirements for school-based SLPs

• Experience working with special education students and families highly preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Typical Job Duties:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine speech and language needs

• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs

• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings

• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student development

• Maintain detailed and timely records of services, assessments, and student progress

• Help support communication goals in classroom and school-wide environments
