Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Lake Zurich, Illinois. This position will run from August 12th through the week of November 3rd, providing vital support to students with communication needs during this important part of the school year.

Position Details:

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License

• Must meet all local and state requirements for school-based SLPs

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Experience with special education students and families is strongly preferred

• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students

• Develop and implement treatment plans and IEP goals

• Provide direct therapy services for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

• Collaborate with special education staff, general educators, and families

• Monitor and document student progress in compliance with district and legal standards

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
