School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lake Zurich, Illinois

Make a meaningful impact supporting students with speech and language needs in a school environment near Lake Zurich, IL! Were seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for contract positions, offering a great opportunity to deliver in-person services and help students thrive academically and socially.

Project dates run ASAP through June 4th, 2027, and youll be providing in-person support at a local school. The need is for 1-2 SLPs, and the role is strictly onsite (no remote or virtual work). Youll work closely with students, educators, and families as you provide assessments, therapy, and intervention for a manageable caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional growth, and student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students in-person (35 hours/week; schedule determined by school)
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to address communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student IEP goals
• Maintain clear, timely documentation consistent with school and professional requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and student progress reviews
