Blazer Jobs is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for students in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. This is a full-time, school calendar-based role in collaboration with a supportive district team. Local and travel candidates are encouraged to apply.
Compensation Packages
We provide tailored pay structures for both local professionals and travel contractors:
Local Candidates (Land O’ Lakes area)
Pay Range: $40 – $45 per hour
Full-time, school calendar-based schedule
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation for the assignment)
Equivalent Pay Range: $45 – $52 per hour
Weekly Take Home: $1,378 – $1,537
Compensation package includes a lower taxable base with tax-free housing and meal stipends
Relocation and travel support included

Responsibilities
Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
Conduct evaluations and write Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
Provide consultation and support to teachers to promote student success
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
Current Florida SLP license (or eligibility prior to start)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs may be considered
Understanding of IDEA and special education procedures
Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
