School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Land O’ Lakes, FL

Blazer Jobs is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for students in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. This is a full-time, school calendar-based role in collaboration with a supportive district team. Local and travel candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation Packages

We provide tailored pay structures for both local professionals and travel contractors:

Local Candidates (Land O’ Lakes area)

  • Pay Range: $40 – $45 per hour

  • Full-time, school calendar-based schedule

  • Weekly pay via direct deposit

Travel Candidates (open to relocation for the assignment)

  • Equivalent Pay Range: $45 – $52 per hour

  • Weekly Take Home: $1,378 – $1,537

  • Compensation package includes a lower taxable base with tax-free housing and meal stipends

  • Relocation and travel support included

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs

  • Conduct evaluations and write Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers

  • Provide consultation and support to teachers to promote student success

  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • Current Florida SLP license (or eligibility prior to start)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs may be considered

  • Understanding of IDEA and special education procedures

  • Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
