Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lapeer, MI

Your expertise will be crucial as you work with caseloads of approximately 10 students at each school, including general education students with speech needs, as well as those with mild cognitive or autism spectrum-related communication challenges. Students with severe needs are not part of this caseload. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference while leveraging your SLP skills in both individual and group settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid (or willing to obtain) Michigan SLP license
• Experience working in a school setting and with IEPs preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload
• Work at one school per day, with all locations close to each other
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress
• Provide both direct and consultative services to support student success
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams
