Details:
- Location: Lawrence, MA
- Full Time: 40 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements – Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology License from the Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Valid DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) certification for Speech-Language Pathologists (preferred)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred, not required for CFY)
- Successful completion of district background checks and fingerprint clearance
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K–12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
