Make a significant impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during a maternity leave from November 2026 to March 2027. Work alongside a dedicated team and benefit from the support of an experienced SLPA, focusing on one school site. This contract opportunity offers meaningful engagement with young learners in a collaborative environment with a consistent MondayFriday daytime schedule.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
  • Active or eligible license from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP required)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while coordinating with staff and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy for elementary students as determined by IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the SLPA to ensure comprehensive support for student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Deliver direct and consultative services, modifying approaches based on student progress
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide communication initiatives

This position covers 34 hours per week in a supportive, professional school environment with a structured schedule from 7:45 am to 2:33 pm, Monday through Friday.
