Key Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota SLP license required
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in school settings, especially with preschool or early childhood special education (ECSE) populations
  • Ability to conduct assessments, write reports, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to early childhood students ages 3-5
  • Perform student evaluations and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and student records in compliance with district policies
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs and foster developmental growth
  • Provide 12 weeks of substitute coverage for a full-time SLP, beginning approximately September 7, 2026 through November 30, 2026
  • Work onsite three days per week (MondayFriday), totaling 22.5 hours weekly
