Position Details
Location: Remote – supporting school districts in Marshall, MI
Schedule: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Renewal: Based on performance
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all of the following local and state requirements:
Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
Maintain an active Michigan Speech Language Pathology License
Hold a current Michigan Teaching Certificate (Speech & Language Impairment endorsement) or a Michigan Department of Education (MDE) approval
Be ASHA CCC-certified (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
Have at least 1 year of experience as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist
Must be able to pass a background check and any district-specific onboarding requirements
Applicants who do not meet the above requirements will not be considered.
Typical Responsibilities
Conduct virtual speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide direct therapy services to students
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams
Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
