Full-Time Special Education Teacher Marysville, CA

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position within school districts in the Marysville, California area. This role offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and inclusive educational environment. Contract renewal for the upcoming school year will be based on performance and district requirements.

Position Details:

• Location: Marysville, CA

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

• Setting: K–12 school district (specific placement based on experience and district need)

• Contract Type: School year contract with potential for renewal

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs

• Provide differentiated instruction and support in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional areas

• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and compliance documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development activities

• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet students’ unique learning goals

• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

All applicants must meet California state and local requirements to be eligible for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe, depending on assignment)

• Knowledge of IEP process, state educational standards, and evidence-based instructional practices

• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred

• Must pass background check and any other district onboarding requirements
