Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time roles with partner school districts in the Lexington, NC area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students' communication and language development in a collaborative and student-focused educational environment.


Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following North Carolina state and local certification requirements:

  • Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred (CFY applicants may be considered depending on district needs)

  • Current or eligible North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Professional Educator’s License in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Completion of required background checks and fingerprinting

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support student progress

  • Maintain accurate records and monitor student performance

  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives

  • Offer support and training to staff regarding communication strategies and student needs
