Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time roles with partner school districts in the Lexington, NC area. Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following North Carolina state and local certification requirements:
Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred (CFY applicants may be considered depending on district needs)
Current or eligible North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Professional Educator’s License in Speech-Language Pathology
Completion of required background checks and fingerprinting
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support student progress
Maintain accurate records and monitor student performance
Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
Offer support and training to staff regarding communication strategies and student needs
