Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in speech-language pathology, speech-language and hearing sciences, communication sciences and disorders, or a closely related discipline
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) in speech-language pathology
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized education

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service professionals to ensure holistic student development
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings; provide input on student supports and progress
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state standards
  • Engage with families to facilitate carryover of communication strategies outside the classroom
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can achieve their communication potential
