Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Montgomery, AL area. Qualifications & Requirements:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Active Alabama state license issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, CFY considered

• Knowledge of IEP development and IDEA compliance

• Ability to pass background checks and school district onboarding requirements

• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
