Position Details:

• Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

• Location: Moorpark, CA

• Schedule: Full-Time

• Contract: 2025-2026 school year, with potential renewal based on performance

Applicant Requirements:

To be considered, candidates must meet California state and local requirements, including:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential

• Current California State SLP License issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered

• School-based experience preferred

• Ability to pass all background checks and fingerprinting requirements as per school district policy

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment data

• Provide direct and consultative therapy services in individual or group settings

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success

• Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district policies
