School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Morton, Pennsylvania

This position offers the chance to work with a dedicated Low Incidence Program, supporting students in the Marple Education Center area. Candidates will work 3-4 days per week with a full-time caseload, making a real difference in communication skills and overall academic success.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) in the state
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience working in school settings with children and adolescents
• Strong understanding of best practices for serving students with low-incidence disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with teachers, families, and fellow professionals
• Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services to students in the Low Incidence Program
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each students unique needs
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize students communication and academic development
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights about students progress and recommended interventions
• Offer guidance and coaching to support staff and teachers about targeted communication strategies
