Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists to support school districts in the Mount Prospect, IL area. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals passionate about helping students achieve success in communication and language development.

Position Details:

• Location: Mount Prospect, IL

• Schedule: Full-time, school-based position

• Pay Rate: $45–$55 per hour (based on experience)

• Contract: 2025–2026 School Year (renewals for next school year based on performance)

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students.

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student communication needs.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress.

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations.

• Participate in meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions as required.

Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Illinois state and local requirements for school-based Speech Language Pathologists, including:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language Pathology endorsement.

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

• Experience working with students in educational settings preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
