Key Qualifications:

  • Hold active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL); please be prepared to provide a screenshot of credentials
  • SLP CCC required; no SLPAs or CFs accepted
  • Prior experience in school-based settings, especially with high school-aged students, is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to cultural competence and inclusive practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services for assigned caseload
  • Complete thorough assessments and manage documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other related service providers
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and student progress updates

Hours & Schedule:

  • Maximum of 37.5 hours per week with daily staff hours from 7:55 am to 3:25 pm
  • Ability to accommodate part-time schedules depending on availability
