Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required; please ensure a valid license is attached with your application
  • Experience working in educational, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
  • Competence in evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Comfort with school-based documentation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with students, families, and staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students communication needs and create supportive learning environments
  • Document student progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for developing student goals
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines

Additional Requirements:

  • Position is onsite, full-time (35 hours/week), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • $85 CBC fingerprinting required; candidates must confirm awareness and acceptance
  • Completion of a district contractor packet, including school site information, TB test, fingerprint receipt, and child protective registry check
  • Approval of contractor packet may take up to five business days; a badge appointment will be scheduled following approval
