School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Pay Range: Starting at $43/hr
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join the student services team in Okaloosa County for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time position supporting a diverse caseload across elementary and/or secondary campuses. Bilingual professionals are encouraged to apply, though it is not a requirement.
Position Overview:
In this school-based role, you’ll provide therapy, assessments, and IEP support for students with communication challenges ranging from speech delays to complex language disorders. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on helping students achieve meaningful academic and social outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to K–12 students
Conduct speech-language assessments and contribute to eligibility decisions
Write and update IEPs in accordance with district and state standards
Communicate regularly with families, educators, and special education staff
Maintain timely documentation and service records
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
Florida SLP License (or eligibility)
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFs may be considered
School-based or pediatric experience is a plus
Background check and fingerprinting required
