School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | North Las Vegas, Nevada

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters degree or higher in speech-language pathology, speech-language and hearing sciences, communication sciences and disorders, or a related area (required)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience providing speech-language therapy in an educational setting preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with IEP process, assessments, and goal setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions to students with varying needs
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and provide timely reports
• Educate teachers, staff, and families on strategies to support communication development
• Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing professional development
