Pay: starting at $60 per hour for new grads

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in the Oakland, California area for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. Position Summary:
This role involves providing speech-language therapy and support services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Virtual and travel-based assignments may be considered for qualified applicants seeking flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders

  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed

  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered

  • Must meet California Department of Education standards for working in school settings

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
