School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Overland Park, Kansas

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for an immediate contract assignment supporting students across two vibrant campusesone elementary and one high schoolin the Overland Park area. This opportunity runs through May 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week and the flexibility to shape your own schedule according to student needs. As you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, your role will be crucial in helping students enhance their communication abilities and reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Active Kansas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 60+ students (with support from an incoming SLPA)

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students in both elementary and high school settings
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other special education staff
• Travel between two campuses during the week; build your schedule to best meet student needs
• Support and oversee SLPA working alongside you
