Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Palm City, FL

In this role, youll have the chance to work with a range of age groups and collaborate with experienced teams or function independently, depending on the school assignment:

Qualifications:

• Active Florida SLP license is mandatory.
• Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with K-8 (or PK-8) caseloads.
• Willingness to complete district-mandated fingerprinting; prior prints from the AHCA clearinghouse are accepted.
• Ability to be onsite for badge pickup and onboarding.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services and therapy to your assigned student group.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with school teams, special education staff, and families.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with district documentation standards.
• Travel between 1-2 local schools, depending on hours and campus assignments.
